National Conference for Professional Women

As the most progressive state of the nation, Maharashtra celebrates it’s Golden Jubilee year; Shakti a National movement for Women. (Registered at Sr.No.ER294/04 by under Travancore-Cochin Litrary. Scientific and Charitable Societies as per Societies Regstration Act1955) started at Cochin in 2003 and College of Engineering Pune(COEP) forerunner in technical education in India announce, a Professional Women Conference WE - MEET.

In recent times. we have come across a situation which is showing ascending economic trajectory and gaining global recognition.

Women take half the sky- The maxim depicts the contribution of Indian women to the current economic development of brighter India today. In recent 3 to 4 decades, there has been a phenomenal growth in number of women professional. Women have not only contributed towards laying foundations for educated and cultured families, but also made significant contribution to development of Science & Technology. Many Professions today are seeing equal number of women professionals like Medicine,Education,Health & Nutrition, Banking,Management, Hospitality and the most significant Computer and IT services.

Bonding,caring,sharing, spreading knowledge and information happens through women. It is there lore most appropriate to educate a woman.

WE MEET will serve as a platform for women pursuing any career for their Social,Cultural, Academic & Economic Development.Women will come together,unite, share their experiences, develop a strong social network for spreading necessity of higher education for women.
